Raw Kettlebell First-wave launch list. No retail noise: one line when the line opens.

Editorial policy

What we optimize for, how we work, and where the hard limits are. Calm by design — but explicit where it matters.

Mission and charter

Raw Kettlebell publishes a technical kettlebell reference: form, progressions, programming, and sport-adjacent context where it helps lifters make decisions. We prioritize clarity, reproducible language, and respectful disagreement where evidence is mixed.

We do not publish medical advice. We describe training mechanics and common-sense safeguards; readers with conditions, pain, or post-surgical restrictions should work with qualified clinicians.

Independence and voice

The knowledge base is editorially separate from launch marketing for the hardware line. Pages may mention products when contextually relevant, but articles are not thin wrappers around a sale.

We avoid hype adjectives, miracle timelines, and “one true style” claims. When styles differ, we name the trade-offs and link to the pages that own each viewpoint.

Chronicles & origins

The chronicle is public history, not brand mythology. Entries lean on dictionaries, metrology, and encyclopedic work with real citations — not on decorative scans or invented “secret manuals.” Where historians disagree, the text says so plainly and picks the smallest defensible claim.

Corrections to the chronicle use the same contact path as technical fixes on guides: send the URL, the quoted line, and a source or argument strong enough to reopen the file.

Corrections and versioning

When guidance changes in a way that could change what people do in the gym, we update the page itself. Major safety or programming reversals get called out in the article so returning readers are not misled by memory alone.

The site keeps a calm surface without noisy “blog clock” dates on every card; that is a reading choice, not an attempt to hide edits. What matters is that the living text matches what we believe today.

Conflicts of interest

Raw Kettlebell is founder-led. Pascal Fourtoy writes most knowledge content and sets editorial priorities. Commercial decisions on hardware batches, pricing, and invitations do not dictate technical conclusions in the knowledge base.

Affiliate relationships: default stance is none. If we ever use affiliates, they will be disclosed on the specific pages where links appear, and we will not let commissions pick winners between equivalent equipment.

Sponsored posts: not accepted in the knowledge namespace. If that policy changes, labeling will be unmistakable and template-level.

User-generated content

Comments and forums are disabled on canonical guides to avoid unvetted medical or form advice living beside staff pages. Feedback still reaches us through normal brand channels.

Licensing and attribution

We respect copyright for images and excerpts. Third-party figures are used only with permission or under license terms we can comply with; otherwise we redraw or describe in prose.

Contact

For factual corrections on a specific page, use the brand contact path you already use for Raw Kettlebell. Please include the URL, the quoted sentence, and a source or rationale so we can resolve it quickly.

Launch access

You are reading our public field manual. The hardware line itself is invitation-only: small batches, industrial finish, zero retail theatre. Leave your email if you want quiet notice when we open the list.
